MTB received a report from the Chief Engineer regarding a scrubber system valve that was unable to operate in automatic mode, while manual operation remained functional. To ensure operational safety and maintain system performance, the valve was transferred to the MTB workshop for inspection and technical evaluation.
At the workshop, MTB’s technical team conducted a comprehensive inspection, assessed the technical condition, and performed the necessary functional tests. After identifying the cause of the malfunction, appropriate technical measures were implemented in accordance with the Owner’s requirements and applicable technical standards.
Upon completion, the valve underwent full operational testing and final evaluation. The results confirmed stable performance, meeting all operational requirements and ensuring system safety.
The valve was handed over in ready-for-operation condition, contributing to the reliability and stable performance of the scrubber system onboard.
