Our technical team carried out the removal and inspection of 03 units of NZ61 governors from the vessel. The units were then transported to our workshop for cleaning, detailed inspection, and overall maintenance.
During the inspection, some components showed signs of wear due to long-term operation, such as worn gear teeth and driving shafts, scratched pistons, needle roller bearings not turning smoothly, and aged oil seals, O-rings, and gaskets. These parts were carefully inspected, refurbished, or replaced when necessary to ensure reliable operation.
After completing the maintenance work, the governors are tested and calibrated on a dedicated test bench at the workshop to verify proper performance before being delivered back to the vessel for installation.
