Ship trouble

Ship lub oil have leaked out from Aft Stern Tube. It was urgent to be repaired.

MTB action

Received the information from customer’s Vietnamese agency, MTB Co., Ltd give them quick reponse and join together to make habour entry procedures at Nghi Son International Port, Vietnam.

When the ship was trimming and afloat, our welding team arranged  for their task. After 4 hours, the staging was ready, our bonding team started work. While our service Engineer was carrying out the job, he noticed that seal box was dismantled in bad condition. This can be seen from picture with low quality of seal.

Solution

New seals was sourced and replaced at short notice. The leaking test was made in customer satisfactory. All jobs were well done within 18 hours, in the required time frame.
