The Remote Control System (RCS) acts as the "nervous system" of a vessel, ensuring seamless coordination between the Bridge and the Engine Room. Recently, the MTB technical team successfully completed an in-depth overhaul of the RCS for an AKASAKA 7UEC45LA main engine, ensuring absolute reliability for upcoming voyages.
Key Technical Scope:
- Detailed Inspection & Diagnosis: All system components—including directional control valves, pneumatic transmitters, and relay blocks—were completely dismantled to detect signs of mechanical fatigue or signal leakage.
- In-depth Cleaning & Maintenance: Total removal of contaminants, oil residue, and moisture, which are the primary causes of valve sticking or delayed feedback during critical maneuvering.
- Genuine Parts Replacement: MTB commits to using 100% Genuine Parts for all replacements, ensuring strict synchronization with AKASAKA’s original technical specifications.
- Rigorous Functional Bench Testing: Post-overhaul, all sub-assemblies underwent strict testing on specialized benches. Every control logic and technical parameter was verified for precision before final re-installation on board.
Achievements:
- Enhanced Precision: Optimized response time for all engine commands.
